Everything was great when I moved in on 8/1. There were a few things in the apartment that needed repairs and the maintenance and front office staff were very responsive to make repairs. Also, this week we had a Fruit Social and it was super fun. The ladies in the office are super helpful and very friendly. When I was looking to move back to North Texas, I only looked at MAA properties and I'm so blessed that I found Boulder Ridge!
Absolutely horrible leasing office staff and maintenance process. The leasing office has no accountability for escalating maintenance issues. They use a 3rd party company for called in maintenance requests versus online requests and neither confidently assure service will be assigned in a timely manner. When you speak to 3rd party they have no records of service cases submitted online, so you repeat the case information to eventually have no one show up. In the four months I have lived here, I have submitted multiple pest control complaints, and my apartment has been treated three separate times. Despite those treatments, I continue to experience significant pest activity inside my apartment. I have encountered flies, roaches, wasps, gnats, beetles, pill bugs, millipedes, earwigs and other insects. I've been renting for two months now, and I waited to give my opinion to be more honest. I want to share my experience. The only people who have treated me well are Ms. Andrea and another very kind young woman with dark skin. I don't know her name and I apologize if my words offend her... Poor upkeep. Trash. I've asked the office multiple times to keep up with the pet waste stations. Overall, it's an okay place to live. Not terrible but definitely looking forward to moving out.
