Terrible experience. We asked for a finish and remodel of our basement. The contractors made mistakes every step of the way, even cutting a solid wood door by 1/3 without checking with us. There are cracks in the drywall, which appeared only days after they “completed” the job. The worst part, however, was the flooring. The contractors botched this. With baby #2 on her way, we decided to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms so it worked with our growing family. Marc and his team did a great job working with us in the short amount of time given. He was attentive to our ideas, and offered his own ideas which we found very helpful. Called MA Designs multiple times to get quote for an additon to our home. The office seemed very disorganized and unprofessional. Never once heard back from them. Based on that alone I would never trust this company to manage a major project for my home.
MA Design was an amazing partner for our bathroom renovation. As with any old home, there were some issues we knew about (e.g. lack of vent, mysterious 2-inch threshold, plumbing stack below roof line), and then there were the mystery issues we knew we were bound to discover. We needed true professionals who could handle anything we found, and the entire MA team rose to every challenge.
