Scott, Arie, and team have built a beautiful facility in DeWitt. There's everything you need in a functional fitness space, including a great turf area, lifting stations, a rig, and a variety of weights, and there's a kind, welcoming community ready to support you. I highly recommend this facility!
Being a member of M43 for about the past year has been a great experience for me. The members are friendly but also courteous enough to give plenty of personal space and also ask if you are still using equipment or not. I find that I'm often the only one in the gym or sometimes with only a few other people and have never been in there with more than 5-6 others. Had a bad experience with checking out this gym. After a tour I asked to work with a personal trainer. The tour guide texted a personal trainer then after I left she texted me that she had reached out to the personal trainer and told me that the personal trainer did not want to take any "moms" I have a copy of the text. She did not offer membership either. Would not recommend to women.
M43 has been a fantastic place to exercise and stay healthy. The facility is always clean and full of top of the line equipment (seriously, PSI based cable machines were something that I didn't know my life was missing; you'll just have to try them yourselves). People tend to keep to themselves and focus on their own workout, which allows you to do the same (although smiles and greetings are always returned :) ).
