M3 and Associates have just seemed to let us go. It is almost September 2024 and our tax returns have yet to be filed. They filed for an extension in April but have not done anything since. We talked to them over a month ago and still no tax return.
M3 & Associates are technically proficient in accounting & tax preparation but lack greatly in interpersonal skills. After completing my personal & business tax returns in 2021 and 2022, Melody reached out in late March 2024 to ask for documents needed to request a filing extension that I never asked for. Marilue Beverly was the person who signed off on a few of the returns I had done by M3 and Associates, LLP. So many mistakes made by Marilue & her team. I mentioned to Marilue what deductions I qualified for as a widower, one year she remembered, but the next she forgot (poor record keeping), if I hadn't caught this and other mistakes it would have resulted in $5000 - $8000 in overpaying of taxes. Also, they sent emails about my taxes to the wrong person! They mixed up the email addresses & sent multiple tax related question... read more
