I naturally have dark hair, almost black as you can see in the first picture. I went to see Mark and asked him for "caramel highlights." I also said I needed a trim and wanted long layers. Currently, on the top of my head I have blonde highlights and colors of red throughout my head. I do not have any layers, and he cut off way more than he should have.
