Dr Chekakie was very helpful on explaining a fib is and what he was able to do to fix the issue. He takes a time to explain everything about the heart and what to expect. My surgery was more than 7 days ago. My heart is in normal rhythm and no issues. Thanks for all the help. I appreciate it
Do not go to this DR. Sent home from the hospital only to return and have a life saving procedure after being sent home with it. Never reads your charts or even knows what meds you are taking and suggest taking ones you are already on. Looking for new Dr now.

I have been going to Dr. Al Chekakie for several years now. He always treats me with the upmost respect and empathy. He always tells me exactly what needs to be done and how I need to do things to get better. He’s never too busy to answer my questions and I always feel better when I leave his office! I would recommend him to anyone needing electrophysiological heart consultation.
HE HAS PERFORMED 5 OF MY 6 PROCEDURES..HE IS EXCEPTIONAL! WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE NOR TO A DIF. DR. HE HAS KEPT ME ALIVE & ACTIVE SINCE I GOT THIS HEART DAMAGE FROM A VIRUS 4 YRS AGO. WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER MOVING OUT OF THIS AREA BECAUSE TO THE FABULOUS HEART CARE & PROCEDURES HE HAS DONE FOR ME.

easy going and probably saved my life
This doctor Did A cardiac ablation on my husband with no sedation ! This is not standard of care. He was very rough and hurt him. My husband is now waking up With nightmares about the procedure. This physician should not be allowed to practice medicine. I am an administrator in a anesthesiology practice and it is unheard of to treat patient this way. We will be contacting all payers but also the state board to report him.
I first saw Dr. Al Chekake for a very nerve wracking form of atrial fibrillation. At first, it seemed that the records he had access to during a session, were not all of those available. He did no hesitate to check for more records, which he found. (The office was transitioning from paper to all computerized records.) He definitely knows his stuff! His surgery skill is awesome.
