This is my grandmother’s cardiologist. She would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for quality care. Dr.Awar is highly knowledgeable, has great bedside manner, and genuinely cares for his patients. Overall, this office is a 10/10!
Dr Awar was courteous until we told the Dr we weren't interested in a Watchman. He went ballistic. Told us to go home. Had his MA call us to give us a 9/3 appointment. It was April. My husband was wearing a Life Vest ordered by Dr Awar since the beginning of March. At the time of the order for the life vest we were told there would be an order for a echocardiogram in 6-8 weeks. Had a bad experience with this location due to not clearing the coverage of insurance. The rep up front was doing her best to explain the co-pays and to her knowledge she did her best to explain. Now the person who's she called that later came out and explained the same thing as the previous lady but could not answer my question about every visitation will ther be a copay due to my insurance,but yet didn't answer my question.
