Had a VW with a broken water pump and a few other issues that were already known. I spent 2 weeks trying to fix it myself, but that turned out as it usually does, and ended up taking it in. I was quoted $2,000 from other local mechanics, these guys asked for $1300. They gave me a call and told me the valve cover gasket was worn and that’s why oil was all over the spark plugs and ignition coils I had found, causing the misfires identified. Update **God bless the Eustler brothers and Chris. The technicians at M&J, Gordon, and David had squeezed me in when available. My car started to have issues around the holidays and snowstorm. It's getting old. They went out of their way to make sure my car was road worthy.
