This is actually a very good review. Hang with me for a moment. The fact that I gave M&J three stars is more a reflection of how it compares to all of the sushi restaurants I've ever eaten at, rather than pitting this against other local eateries. It's actually better than most sushi places in New York City... including Nobu, which is awful. This is a great place to know about it. The food was really tasty. I had sesame chicken and egg drop soup. Very tasty. And the server was so great. Santo is a wonderful ambassador. Very welcoming. This is a great place.
The culinary team and service team both aim to please. The people serving you are prompt and pleasant. The food maintains standards and the location works with my schedule. The meal execution and staff conduct deserve commendation. Highest marks for the outstanding meal and friendly employees.
Server was really kind and friendly, explaining the menu well. Place was clean and had an inviting atmosphere. Food came out pretty quick. However, I would say that the sushi was pretty good, but the texture wasn’t the best. Overall, it was still pretty good and would recommend.
Wow. Just wow. Excellent food and fast, friendly service. They don’t have high chairs, but they were very accommodating to our large group with three kids.
