If you plan on considering buying an MI Home. Please reconsider. I read the reviews and should have known that this would be a nightmare. Please read the other reviews so you are very informed. I have had cracks in my drywall for the last 3 winters. This year MI Homes had their contractor go in my attic. Found split 2x4’s due to trusses attached to interior walls. We had fun planning and watching our house be built. The staff at M&I was great to work with and provided updates along the way so we were always in the loop. Now we get to live here and we really love our home!
M/I Homes is great to work with. And their homes are well constructed. They’re always available to answer questions we may have. We’d definitely recommend M/I Homes.
Built a house May 2022 and fought for 2 years (some ongoing) for items under Warranty fixed. These flaws/defects should be noticed during the building process by the Construction Manager, City Inspector, or Contractors themselves and should be fixed before closing, if not within the first 30 days. After closing, tickets are submitted ASAP but there is no verification that it was received, followed by months of waiting for a call about said problem(if you're lucky), no follow-up, and often times the contractors only do part o... read more
