We had a bad experience. My son's school suggested we get him a hearing test. Booking an appointment was easy enough and the appointment itself was fine and turned out to be quick as my son's hearing was ok (the appointment took less than 20 mins which for £150 meant it worked out as expensive but I can't complain too much about that as I knew the price when I booked).
