After years of going to their chain of restaurants, I was discriminated at their restaurant for being gay by drunk “straight bros” and when I called back to explain I was unhappy and explained to the female manager at the McKinney location that I was also very unhappy that in my 20 times in the location, she ignored me every time. I used the Mi Cocina food truck for a birthday. We were lucky enough to have Jose, Silvia, and Nephtali serve us. Their service, food, and kindness was a 10/10. I can’t recommend them enough. The front office of getting everything set up was a bit frustrating with lack of communication but I think it was more of a person thing. Still extremely frustrating. As for the party, ask for Jose’s crew and you will be extremely happy.

Dear Mi Cocina, Others and I including my fiancé continue to experience discrimination only at your location in The Colony, TX. Lack of service, unequal, unfair, and poor treatment while others around us are given great and prompt service. We were seated 15 minutes before other patrons but still ignored and no server while others were served promptly upon being seated.
