Called Mike 9:30am with an issue with the sockets in my kitchen. Something was tripping the RCD and despite my best efforts to isolate the problem (with my limited knowledge) I was unable to. Spoke with me on the phone for a good few minutes going through potential issues, said that if he had time he would try and come round later in the week. Cannot recommend Michael enough. We had a rather scary electrical fire in our consumer box which rendered our electrics useless. Our insurance company was being rather slow at finding an engineer so I reached out to Michael to see if he could help. He treated it as an emergency case and came within an hour, basically redid the whole box to get us some temporary power whilst also ringing around to be able to quote us for a new board and consumer unit. We were pleased.Efficient, tidy, communicative and professional.
If only all trades people were like Michael. We were converting an Aga to electric with Michael to do the wiring from the oven to the power source over a passage. He came on the day the Aga guy was doing the conversion to agree stuff as not straightforward, then came back to do the wiring and went out of his way to avoid any ducting showing. Then came back with thermal images to show oven fired up as we weren't yet living at the house. I just can't recommend Michael highly enough.
