I met Matt Pote in the smoking area of the pokies, where he said he would paint my fence for $30 per hour. I knew this is not where you should choose your contractors, but for that price I thought hey, even if he does 1 or 2 days work I would be ahead. I really hate painting. Matthew Pote is a CONMAN and a liar. STEER CLEAR. Option for 0 stars needed here. Pote took our deposit, and never commenced work on the job. We chased him for many months, only to receive excuses, sob stories, and many false promises. Efforts to recover our funds and make him accountable have not been successful thus far. I also recommend looking him up on Reverse Australia for years worth of reviews - all have had similar experiences. This behaviour has obviously been going on for quite some time.
