I brought my dog in after he injured his leg. Dr. Harris examined him in the back and came in to tell me it was a “ruptured ligament” and that he needed surgery. When I asked her to explain, she repeated herself in the same flat tone and said surgery would be around $5,000, not including X-rays (which couldn’t even be done that day). After checking our tiny baby and telling us what to buy, our baby wouldn’t drink or anything, instead of telling us to bring it back, they advised to take him to the animal hospital over 25 miles away. By the time we arrived, he was gone. 2 miles versus 25 miles away doesn’t make any sense
