For the expert only This place is definitely not for beginners. You will need to know your stuff to be able to take advantage of their services. Great staff, very knowledgable, eager to help. However, as a beginner I was a little intimidated by their jargon. I just dont some of the basic terms and its sometimes tough for them to explain to me. So be prepared when you get in there. PROS: knowledgable CONS: could be intimidating

Zero after sale support I have been a Hifi fanatic all my life. When I first visited Lyric, I was impressed by the selection of products. I had just moved to NY and needed a new high end system. I found what I wanted and spent what could have bought me a nice German sport car on a brand new top of the line system. All went well until my Mark Levinson amp failed a few years later. I went back to Lyric for support..Lenny quoted me a $700 fee just to look at the amp and basically told my to buy a new one. What I learned later i... read more
