Lyondell is a pretty good company but the contracting company Austin needs to be removed. Some of their loaders are lazy and entitled. I pick up there and the loaders are very inconsiderate of the drivers time, they are unprofessional and allow the loaders to dictate what they will and will not do. Complaints to Austin upper management is not taken seriously. Wrong or right they side with their workers.
Be prepared to be there an hour or two, if delivering, or picking up. Most of the time will go waiting at the gate
Worst chemical plan I have ever delivered to. An hour just to get into the gate, And that’s not just me, a lot of drivers I spoke with have said the same thing. Very disorganized and dirty
