We were pre approved for a loan. No problem there but then I was told they wanted $1000 extra just to process payments to the people who would be doing the work. I turned them down and will get a loan elsewhere.
Just began our process with Lyon Financial.. was easy to apply and be approved. Will update as the pool is installed.!
These folks have been amazing and very, very easy to work with. Up front they were fast and clear, and once you are approved, they approve and distribute the money very fast, even same day. When we poured gunite into the pool, I sent in photos and within 2 hours had been confirmed and they had paid our pool company. That's incredible.
This company is not very customer friendly and after being pre-approved for a loan refused to to discuss or negotiate that they changed the length of the loan to best fit their own terms rather than what was requested. Customer Service rep stated "we will only give a 36 month term to someone with a credit score over 800!" They further went on to say, "if you don't agree to these terms we will just pull your application." Well I guess they don't need my business!!
Insanely long processing time and absolute worst customer service. When you speak to someone they are nice, but they do not return voicemails and do not reply to emails. Excuse is that they are so busy due to COVID-19 but that excuse can only be used for so long. I am going to recommend my contractor NOT refer people here because they cannot seem to handle the business.
Very poor company. No communication from email or phone. Takes 4-5 days for a return email.
