The most important feature is that my grandson is not only growing in wisdom, but you encourage him that with God all things are possible and include him in his journey through life. This GRANDMOTHER appreciates this above all .
I love the support my son is getting from everyone at Lyon. He has had so many opportunities and is learning so much! The campus is beautiful too.
Relationships between students and faculty persist for years after graduation. I'm still in touch with students from nearly 20 years ago.
So glad our daughter chose Lyon. So many opportunities she would never have had if she had gone anywhere else.
My mother, my Aunt, myself, and my daughter all graduated from Lyon ( Arkansas College ). I also taught there one year ( 1980-81 ). This school has made a tremendous positive difference in my family’s lives. It has been and is a blessing to the Batesville area.
My daughter played club volleyball for several years at the highest level. Every volleyball scholarship that was offered to her was honoring but we where looking for “ THE WHOLE PACKAGE”! She had almost given up her dream of playing college ball & was going to go to Tarrant County College for 2 years then transferring to the family’s alma matter Texas A&M. There is something so vile and disgusting about the way this institution handles loans after graduation. They tease you with a good degree while the administration works tirelessly to ensure you cannot use it post graduation to even get the coveted jobs it promises. This college is nothing short of a predator; it is an odious beast disguised as a benevolent institution. Ethics simply do not exist here.
The support system is amazing...the professors expect high levels of performance which in turn is an above average education...the students are very much prepared for graduate school or the work force.
