Lynne was working with out 7 year-old son who struggles with some anxiety. While she did give us some good tips (goal setting, coping techniques, possible root causes) I often found myself wondering why so much time in our session was on small-talk including her own grandchildren. Additionally, she has trouble with scheduling. Terrible! This therapist is awful. At first I thought she was really nice. No, she's just very fake and flaky. She's all in it for the money. I had to miss an appointment due to a family emergency, and she said she wouldn't see me until I paid a $50 cancelation fee. When talk of paying the fee, she immediately piped up and tried to schedule an appointment. I even tried to do our session over the phone.
