It is always a less stressful visit with Ms. Berdorfe. I feel thankful to be her patient. She is kind, engaging and professional.
I wanted to share my experience because bedside manner is important when choosing an OB/GYN. While I have no concerns about the medical care itself, the communication style wasn't a good fit for me. When I asked which prenatal she recommended, she replied abruptly, "Doesn't matter." I mentioned I'd purchased the One A Day prenatal with choline, and her response was simply, "Whatever. I've been seeing NP Berdofe for years, and I want to be clear that this is not meant to discredit physicians in any way. I understand that doctors perform surgeries and deliver babies, and I truly appreciate the important role they play. That said, my experiences with nurse practitioners especially NP Berdofe have consistently exceeded most (though certainly not all) of my experiences with physicians.
