I have seen Dr. Strand for most of my root canals, and I've lost track how many I've had. She is the absolute best! Technically I can tell she's a perfectionist. My general dentist always looks at the x-rays of the teeth she's treated and is amazed. As a patient, she is compassionate, personable, and painless. At first I used to need oral sedation, then I tried nitrous (laughing gas), but now I am so calm and confident that I don't need either. I saw Dr. Strand for a root canal on emergency basis. She was great! I was a little nervous and she put me at complete ease. I definitely recommend her to anybody needing a root canal.
You won't find a more thorough, proficient or caring endodontist than Dr. Strand. I've had numerous root canals performed by her with excellent, pain-free results every time as compared to several performed by other endodontists. She is available at any hour for emergencies, and she will go out of her way to make you comfortable and pain free. Her billing policies are very reasonable, and her staff is attentive and very competent. I won't go to any other endodontist.
I have had apporximately 5 root canals over the past 6 years by Dr. Strand and I will never go elsewhere! She is very gentle (and I'm a real baby) and virtually painless. She has seen me on an emergency basis too, and got me in right away. My dentist took one look at the x-ray of the last root canal she did and said, "Wow, that's incredible work." I've referred friends and family to her and we've all been so pleased. So, if you have to have a root canal, she's the best.
My appointment with Dr. Strand occurred unexpectedly. While I was traveling, I became aware of a serious tooth abscess. I had learned the hard way that you have to do your homework and find out about a dentist's skill level before you let your teeth be worked on. I have also learned that even though your regular dentist is eager to perform root canal surgery, don't be fooled! You are taking a big risk if you don't go to a good endodontist. Dr. Strand and her staff treated me with wonderful care. Listened to my every concern and addressed them all. Lots of amenities to help me be comfortable and she is a wonderful clinitian-I felt NOTHING! Price was reasonable, schedule ran on time. Overall great experience!

Dr. Strand and her partner are excellent. The entire office is kind and professional, but most importantly the dental work is well explained, done as painlessly and comfortably as possible and to the highest standards of care. There are little pillows, a blanket if you are cold and hot tea in the waiting area, parking in the back of the building.
