Had the Battery Saver Mode issue on my still under warranty Mav, took it to the Huntsville dealer where I bought the vehicle new - 3 times they found the battery discharged, each time (after 4+ hour waits) they recharged it and told me it was good. Talked to Ford themselves, THEY told me to take it to another dealership and I chose Lynn Layton over in Decatur. Turned out to be a good choice. I was stranded headed back from TX to TN about 4.5 hrs away from home with my family and a trailer full of goods. After working out transfer of the truck and trailer to the dealership (arriving at about 4.45 pm), the service manager and dealership manager were kind enough to: store my trailer, get us a loaner vehicle, and prioritize getting my truck diagnosed and repaired (repairs were complete the next morning). First service on a new truck and they scratched my rim. Assumingly with their impact wrench while rotating the tires. Mechanic left oil and sweat smears on the hood and grill, not as big of a deal because that can be washed off. However you would think they would be more careful to not scratch rims, especially on a brand new vehicle. I have tried to attach a photo but cant find the option.
I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly of dealer service centers. This is a good one. Great people, reasonably priced, good work. Closer dealers, but I drive further to get to them because they're excellent. Update- their service writers changed awhile ago, and after an interaction or two, we no longer drive the extra distance to use them.
