I brought my truck in for a transmission leak and was told it was the torque converter seal. I authorized the repair on September 2nd. After over a month with no update I contacted my service advisor and now he tells me I have a crack in the transmission case but the warranty inspector couldn’t “see” the crack so they didn’t authorize the repair. He then proceeded to try to sell me a remanufactured transmission for 6500. I then asked them to use dye and a bore scope to find the crack but they said they couldn’t find anything... read more
