Do not recommend Dr Hyland. I brought my 15 year old daughter in to have her bottom wisdom teeth extracted and was grateful that she was going to be under anesthesia as I did not want her to be awake for the procedure and potentially be traumatized. When we went for the procedure, I was not allowed in the room but they came and got me afterwards. My daughter was sobbing when I came back. Amazing staff through out the office. They're all so kind and willing to help. Dr. Hyland himself was incredible. Very patient and thorough in his work. Can't say enough good things about this office.
My sister had a tooth extraction at this office and left out traumatized. When Dr. Hyland entered the room to perform the extraction he showed little to no interest in greeting my sister or setting a welcoming tone. Instead, he quickly administered the numbing shot and abruptly went on with the extraction— failing to check on the comfort of my sister at least once. I was referred here for my wisdom teeth removal and all of the front desk staff was very friendly! The anesthesia tech was lovely and made sure that I was comfortable, even helped me walk to my car. The Dr. was great as well. I was very nervous, and the staff were very understanding and helped me through it. I am now 4 days post op. and am recovering very well. Would definitely recommend.
I didn't have a very good experience with Dr. Hyland. I rarely write reviews, but felt the need to write this one due to the lack of service that I was provided. I had a Coronectomy which is the removal of just the top of the wisdom tooth. During my surgery no one came out to let my husband know how I was or anything. Once the procedure was completed they brought him back to see me and they told him I was good to go.
