It might be legal, but it’s not ethical! For over a year we have been dealing with the most exasperating situation that we could have imagined in relation to what should have been a relatively simple estate settlement. Four siblings, in total agreement with one another, had to deal with a lawyer who made this experience a source of extreme frustration and aggravation. I do not recommend this lawyer. I believe she took advantage of our grieving family for her personal gain. After two years of chasing her to get the work done, she charged us thousands of dollars for a straightforward estate that should have cost hundreds! And if we hadn’t questioned her about it when the shocking bill arrived she would have taken thousands more of the money our hardworking Dad spent his life farming to earn.
