This rental company is the absolute worst. They have terrible communication skills. Waited forever for them to finally get our keys to us. They said the building was ready to move in and available but it ended up taking way longer. We waited forever. They never answer their phones. We went to move out and they charged a ridiculous amount on top of our lost deposit. Money for cleaning, for blinds (which were not damaged, in fact we installed brand new ones on windows for them), and $600 for paint. Mind you, the paint was comp... read more
A shame there is not lower rating I can give. I was charged for draperies on cement walls in basement as well as a huge dry erase board that were there upon my moving in and I was charged to remove! I had a water leak that was never fixed correctly and ran my water bills to $300.00. Also charged for carpet cleaning which I had done as well as a thorough cleaning. They never did the same for me! Despite repeated attempts via phone calls to receive a refund for a rental application fee which was promised to us by agent ******* ******* and apparently her manager, six weeks later, no check has arrived in the mail. My only recourse is to dispute the charge on my credit card account. Unfortunately, there are no positive recommendations from us for anyone looking to rent in the Lynchburg area through Lynchburg Renting, LLC. Virginia R

Lynchburg Renting was very helpful when we found a leak and mildew/mold problems left from the previous tenant at Liberty NorthPoint. Bruce was professional and went above regular maintenance standards to completely replace floorboards and ensure our unit was livable as soon as possible. I have no experience with this company as a tenant, but have worked with them on the property management side for over 10 years. We’ve had a couple of bumps in the road, but overall I have been satisfied with their service, and the rate they charge me is more than fair. Their staff is professional and accommodating. I would recommend them.

After renting a condo with Lynchburg Renting for 1 year, we were unjustly charged for painting services and cleaning services of $775 when we moved out. We personally painted and cleaned the condo prior to vacating the property. The property was left in a cleaner state than when we moved into the condo. I would highly recommend you be cautious if you consider using this company and take pre and post pictures to help combat these unjust charges.

This unit was leased for a period of twelve months. Upon initiation of the lease, a unit inspection report was completed by the tenant. Such inspection report was utilized during the exit inspection. The exit inspection revealed multiple areas of interior walls where touch-up painting had been completed by tenant. I have worked with Bruce Gallier and Lynchburg Renting for over 5 years. The service Bruce provided as my property manager was outstanding....professional, timely and proactive. As a property owner living out of state, i could always trust Lynchburg Renting to represent me and my tenant in a respectful and courteous manner.
