Greatest orthopedic surgeon in the country! 20+ years as a patient
Incredible surgeon whose expertise and confidence in his capabilities is very reassuring for a patient.Before choosing Dr. Goldsmith to do my laminectomy and fusion (L4l/L5) I saw seem by 3 other othro-neuro surgeons and none inspired me to proceed. He answered all my questions and even entrained the tough questions about why he chose one surgical procedure over others. Dr Lutton took time to explain the entire replacement process so I understood every step - surgery, recovery and PT.

Dr. Ian Weiner and his support staff were very open and responsive to my questions/concerns about ankle surgery. In addition to clearly explaining the surgical plan, he gave me realistic expectations for the post op recovery timeline.
Very professional. Explained everything very well and three months after surgery things are exactly as he described them. Seems to genuinely care about his patients and knows what he is doing. His specialty is shoulder surgery and I highly recommend him for it.
Although I was referred by a hospital, this doctor solely examined and focused on treatment for one injury. Completely ignored other injuries for weeks. Had to get a second opinion to address prolonged recovery. Not to mention the fact that the patient portal is a joke. You actually have to submit a records release form to request medical records through the portal. Truly unbelievable that it took this doctor 2 months to make a diagnosis. REALLY, REALLY sick of clinicians with poor care and administrative management.
Dr. Levin and his amazing patient coordinator, Kristen Lemons, provided me with the best health care I have ever received! When I needed anything leading up to and after my lumbar spinal surgery, Dr. Levin's team was always urgently responsive, and exceptionally patient with me when I was in pain. Dr. Levin is not only an incredibly talented doctor and surgeon, but he is also one of the most compassionate people I've met. I highly recommend Dr. Levin!
Inability to listen to me explaining my symptoms. i found the doctor to be extremely dismissive and indifferent. He said the cause was arthritis in my right knee even though I told him the pain started in my left knee, subscribed meds and told me to come back in two weeks. Upon my follow-up I told him the pain in my left knee was still there and he fussed that I told him it was the right side of my knee which was clearly not the case. I asked for an MRI and he told me no, that my hamstring was too tight and that I needed PT.... read more
