I have heard great things about Lynch and decided to try them out for a service request. Went in for a check engine light diagnostic and their basic diagnostic rate is $179, which is $30 more than McGrath. Then the quote I received was $1200 to $7500. The range actually made sense based on the potential service that needed to be complete, however the top end quote was $1500 to $2500 more than other places in Cedar Rapids.
Came in for an oil change. Got home and found out they had forgotten to put the wheel well lining that protects the filter back in place and it had been rubbing against the wheel the entire drive. Had to drive all the way back and get put back in line for them to fix it. Very cool.
If you take your vehicle here to be serviced expect to pay $400 for a diagnostic and a quote for repair with a cost 3 times that of other dealerships. I will NEVER go here again and I don't recommend anybody else does either unless you want to get taken advantage of.
