I had my radiation treatment at Lykes Center, Morton Plant Hospital. The staff were so compassionate and gentle. I had to be placed into a mold to have radiation for my lung cancer. It was very difficult to get into the mold and once in, extremely uncomfortable position for me to be in. The 2 staff technologists that I was assigned to were so gentle with me and tried to make me as comfortable as I could possibly be. I got a message from Stephanie asking me to call back to reschedule for 9:30 instead of 9:00… it hurts really, really bad to try to talk on phone, and I was crying while talking to her , and she didn’t even seem to care. They need a much better communication system- why can’t they just text me? Or use my email to contact me?
