This unusual maritime style building was built back in 1922 by Aroline Chase Pinkham Gove, the daughter of Lydia E. Pinkham. While I am wary of alternative medicine (the original Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compote was mostly alcohol, although the modern compound is less addicting), I support women entrepreneurs and good architecture.
