I had a very disappointing experience working with Julie Murphy, Paralegal at The Lyda Law Firm, during our closing transaction. Communication was extremely poor throughout the process. Emails and calls often went unanswered, making it difficult to get updates or move the transaction forward. Only will issue a regular check for real estate sale proceeds if you are not the client. This was a large transaction and cost me over $1500 in lost interest due to the bank hold period. I asked receptionist for a certified check and not only did she refuse, but was less than polite about it. I will never use this firm. Old school small time mentality.
