Would not recommend Kayla Smith. Went to her for years and she never offered help for any of my symptoms!!!! First visit to a new doctor I got the ultrasound I needed and the bloodwork I needed. Cysts in both ovaries and large in size! High insulin and testosterone. The PCOS I kept telling her I thought I had. Confirming all my symptoms she told me were “weird” and did nothing about. Had a good experience in 2022 when pregnant with my son. However, I am currently 39 weeks pregnant with my daughter and use this office as my home base for an OBGYN. I was seen for my initial prenatal appointment at 9 weeks, & i was seen again at 14 weeks. I was told I was high risk and would be then seen more frequently at another office as well as their office, etc. However, I was not seen back at this office til i was about 28/29 weeks pregnant. I don’t normally post reviews, but I was super disappointed in my care today. I am 34 weeks with my first pregnancy after a loss. My ultrasound tech rushed through my growth scan and I did not get to enjoy seeing my babies features. From the start she seemed like she didn’t want to be there and she hated her job. There would be periods of just silence in the room. Made no effort to make this a great experience. Really wish this wasn’t my experience for my last ultrasound because it was highly disappointing.
I went here twice within two years as I had moved and had to change my usual doctor as she was too far to go to unfortunately. I have never been in and out of a gynecology appointment so quick and it is both a good and bad thing, it’s weird. Good, because who wants to sit there if it’s just an annual exam? Arrived 7 minutes late for my appointment after driving an hour to get here and my appointment was cancelled and tried to reschedule me for a month later. I understand having to wait longer for it being my own fault for being 7 minutes late, but cancelling without a call or anything is a bit ridiculous (Especially when you normally sit in the waiting room longer than what the appointment even lasts for). Will not be returning here after coming here for 10 years.
