Listen- I had to wait to review because I was angry: While I appreciate the speed and cleanliness of the service, I had concerns about my braids. I don't prefer edge control as my styling product, and I wasn't happy with how my braids were started. They used edge control to gel my hair, twisted it, and then added the extensions, which caused my hair to knot around my edges. My edges are weak, which is why I opted for braids in the first place. I wish I would’ve read the latest reviews before going to this salon. The women who did my hair lacked all areas of customer service. I got the small knotless midback braids with boho and the quality of my braids for a $300 style was criminal. It was not a consistent size of the braid from the scalp to the end, the front was small parts and the middle and back was medium/large parts. I hate I actually stayed and allow the young lady to finish my Senegalese twists. I’m not tender headed and have never had a painful and uncomfortable braiding or twist experience. The lady was literally pulling my hair to grab and twist. I have shoulder length hair so my hair length was not a problem. I told her multiple times she was hurting me & to not twist and pull my hair/scalp so tight. She only kept saying sorry and not easing up at all. I want to almost say it was intentional. I had a very frustrating experience with this business and would not recommend them based on how unprofessional and disorganized the service was. I booked an appointment for Tuesday, May 5th at 9:00 AM through their website. Not even 30 minutes after booking, I received a text saying that the style I chose couldn’t be done by one person and asking me to reschedule for 2:30 PM the same day.
