Been using luxury afloat for past 8 years, always happy with the reception staff and the boats. Great for what we hire them for. We will continue using luxury afloat for our yearly break.
Not a good place, not safety for kids, gate broken not safe, bad service
This is the worst houseboat hire I have ever seen in my life, The boat was so unsafe and it was kinda dirty, All the gates were broken and when we told them about the broken gates they tried to fix them while we are in the boat. The management there was very mean and judged us by our religion, and after that we didn't want the boat and wanted a refund. But they wouldn't refund all our money, This houseboat was unsafe for kids and they didn't have life jackets for infants. I would definitely prefer ripples Brooklyn houseboat ... read more
We recently stayed in a cottage with our 13 year old totally blind Labrador as agreed with the management. A $100 cleaning fee was taken from our bond for "extra cleaning for property being covered in dog hair". Our dog sleeps most of the day, hardly leaves her mattress and does not climb on furniture. The only dog hair would have been on the floor and removed during normal cleaning of the floor, incuring no extra cost.
