Ordered several doors from Lux of various sizes. Customer service (May) was instrumental in getting the correct sizing and doors. She went above and beyond to assist with ordering process and even after shipping to correct a small manufacturing defect in the assembly of one door. I solicited a quote from Lux for a custom garage door. At the time, the sales agent did not reveal that Lux is not the manufacturer, and said the delivery would be 7 to 8 weeks. My contractor placed the order for me in Dec 2025. I have since learned that Lux handed my order to Amarr, a garage door manufacturer. As of April 2nd, the garage door has not been delivered, though Lux debited my contractor a month ago for the full cost, without notifying him. The garage technician did a lousy job in changing the springs and cable change. Their technician, Adam, charged me $1,500 for the total labour and parts which are very expensive. The garage is not working properly as it should. In the last two weeks, we are opening and closing the garage door manually. We tried calling them several times, but the manager have not responded sincerely. The manager, Andre, did not follow up on my requests.
We hired Lux for fixing our garage door few weeks back. We spent thousands to fix tge garage door. However the door does not close all the time and it remains open for hours. We have contacted them 3-4 times but no one showed up to fix the issue. They gave us 10 years warranty which is funny! Now with this cold weather season, we are stuck with a faulty garage door. Don't know what to do!
