I first came to Lu to get an annual smog/service check for my state vehicle registration. I was so impressed by the kindness and efficiency in handling this rather mundane task, that when a bigger repair came up I brought my car back to Luu… and I’m so glad I did. I generally come to Luu’s for car inspections, but would definitely go there if I need anything else for my car. I recommend getting an appointment in advance to save you time. Overall, the service is great and timely, and everyone is very courteous and provides honest service.
**update** Service now is by appointment only for most things, so do yourself a favor and call to inquire before making the trip over and save the hassle. July 2025. Nam is the best mechanic you can find, one in a million. In today's world "honest mechanic" is a oxymoron but Nam is the exception. He will always do his best and tell you wht is wrong without gimmicks. His son has started working there for awhile now and is just as great.
I brought my car to them after reading some good reviews but I was disappointed after seeing my final bill for $1,420.00. Ok, I specifically pointed out that I wanted a 50,000 miles maintenance performed because my odometer showed 50,500 miles. I also asked that my cabin filter be replaced, the brakes checked, tire pressure checked and tires rotated. 3 days later he called and told me that he checked my oil and it looked good.
