Just went for a quick oil change before our vacation out west through the mountains. We are glad they found my brake problem before we drove down the mountains. Great mechanics, honest and fair too!
This is honestly the best place for servicing your vehicle, I have been going there for years. It is such a touchy subject when it comes to car repairs because like most people, I have had some pretty bad experiences in the past. Sometimes it is hard to know what makes a good automotive shop and based on my experiences with both good and bad places, Lutter's is fantastic! Simply put, Lutters treat your vehicle like their own, and treat you like a friend - specifically a friend who is NOT made of money! They have given me warnings about components that are wearing out, and provided an estimate of how long they are likely to make it - specifically not pressuring me to do the work right away if it's not that bad. When they do a job, they are so thorough - you just couldn't pick a better mechanic.
This guy totally hosed my dh for repairs that were not needed. Complete fraud. We have a regular trustworthy mechanic, but my husband wanted to take it here since it was close and we knew what was wrong with it. Well of course the guy gave a whole list of things that were wrong with the van and said that they *would all go out this winter if not fixed* (because apparently he is not only a mechanic but a psychic as well) . unfortunatly hubby agreed to the repairs without checking with me first.
