I went in by ambulance and had to wait in ambulance for 1.5hrs and then was left in waiting room for another 3hrs and then seen very quick and felt like they just want people in and out and not do all checks needed would not be going there by chose again and would rather go Bedford or Milton Keynes
Long waiting times for hours with no communication. Most cases are dismissed with paracetamol, even when symptoms are serious. The Staff sitting on the phone and TikTok Staff seem under-trained — blood tests were done poorly and painfully, with multiple failed attempts. Overall felt unprofessional and not focused on patient care. Needs serious improvement.
Been there for a wound care. The wound was deep. But the staffs insulted me and commented the wound is not big and gave me a look I wouldn’t need to come to A & E Department . Dear staffs. My wound would be one of 1000 wounds you are seeing a day but for me it’s my biggest problem and pain.next time show some respect and sympathy to your patients and stop mocking them
This review is specifically for the xray department as I don’t have much / anything positive to say about a&e or the GP at the hospital. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Kashifa Perveeri and Marjorie Thomas from the L&D Hospital X-ray Department for their outstanding care and compassion. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate and look after my elderly parents during their visit. They wouldn’t give my results anymore, saying I have to do it online, but not on their website but under some “subject access “ and there is nothing no link anything, the lady wouldn’t explain (“the so called operator”) hanging up as apparently as she said: “i am very busy with lots of calls right now, i will have to hung up,” after 15 min waiting to talk to them and 30 seconds conversation!
