Had to go there because of a very ill relative, having lived in London all my life, and used London hospitals, this particular hospital in Luton is very very clean to a very high standard, the paintwork is also immaculate, I was looking for fault, I'm pleased to say I could find any at all, well done and carry on with what you are doing

I waited 8 hours today. I watched everyone go in and out. I have a broken spine (separate to the issue I attended for) so this was torture on my body to just exist. The chairs are made to prevent you being comfortable. The morning staff were lovely but at 10pm I was so distressed I had to get out of there. I was told at 5pm, 'one more person then you,' and at 7pm the same and at 8pm then same. At 9pm I think they realised the error but then said one more person then you again. Very friendly, professional, attentive and quick service. Separate emergency area for families with children. We arrived at 2:30 am, were admitted within 20 minutes and discharged after minor injury treatment by 3:30 am.

I’m not a regular visitor to hospital, but following my GP’s advice, I went to Luton & Dunstable A&E this morning (9/6/25) to have my eye checked for possible shingles in the cornea. I wasn’t exactly looking forward to it, but I didn’t want to take any chances with my eyesight. Despite a fair bit of waiting (about 6.5 hours in total), I was pleasantly surprised.
