Great place! Thank you all so much for your care and attention when we come to visit, especially during those overnight stays when our medical needs are most challenging (particularly for us owners!).
DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE HORRIBLE VETERINARY ESTABLISHMENT. Do NOT take your bird here. I brought my 4 year old cockatiel in for a standard physical and wing/nail trip, and they cut through a blood feather, causing excessive bleeding. The also somehow managed to nick the delicate skin right behind her eye, as well as mangle her toe nails. Completely incompetent technicians and veterinarians who are no better! Save your money, save your pet's health - DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.

Nancy Dr. Ken Volk is the finest vet my pets and I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He is very thorough, explains every test in detail and most importantly, calls you back promptly with test results or when you need to speak with him about one of your pets. Because of his knowledge and expertise, two of my cats lived to be 19 1/2 years old. He also has a very helpful and caring staff. Absolutely the best vet in the Baltimore area, if not the state!!
This Is Good I think that a animal shelter is good because you can help other things besides yourself. It shows that you care about the enviorment and the animals that live there.
