Went to visit my brother and was truly impressed by the all the staff. The gentleman playing the music trivia game spoke to the individuals with kindness and respect. He was very polite and nurturing and included everyone. The game was probably a sort of therapy as he often took notes. I stayed with my brother during his lunch which he seemed to enjoy as did all the people eating at our table did. Some had turkey sandwiches or chili and corn bread and a cookie. Plenty to drink. The staff for the most part is very kind. Everything is very old though. They have no bed rails or bed pad alarms for fall risk patients. So if someone falls they won't know until the go to their room. It also doesn't help that they leave the bed high instead of lowered. My father's first day in the rehabilitation he called me at 1:53 said no one has come to help him to the bathroom. At 3:55 he called again over 2 hrs later since he got the call bell and no one came.
