After finally scheduling my mothers 1st radiation treatment, the office called an hour and a half prior to reschedule for the next day, Claiming the doctor had something come up. The next day they did the same thing with the same excuse. This took us to the following week where they again rescheduled Monday’s appointment. This time the truth came out. On our first meeting Dr. Ampey explained everything in great detail, answering questions I didn’t even think of (but probably would later). His entire staff are wonderful as is Dr. Ampey. It’s been such a blessing during this challenging time.
Dr. Ampey and team should be the epitome of doctor offices that others follow. Dr. Ampey is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He cares for you and his treatments caters specifically for your needs. His office, from the time you walk in, talk to the receptionist, to nurses, and to the doctor is always pleasant although the reason you are here may not be. I wish that every doctor's offices, PCP, ... could learn from this team and provide this level of services. If there was a higher star than 5, I would give it.
I met Dr. Ampey and his nurse, Sandy today and I am truly blown away!!! Dr. Ampey is one of the most incredible, knowledgeable, kind, sincere doctors my family and I have ever met. His smile and laugh lights up the room and his calm, intelligent nature is a gift he has. He was extremely thorough with his delivery of information and made sure everyone in the room understood what he was explaining. My family and I are beyond grateful to be under his care.
Dr Ampey is best of the best. He listened and I mean listened to everything we ask him. He explains everything to the latest little detail.
