My experience with WaFd in El Segundo has been terrific. I found them when they were still Luther Burbank Savings. I became the executor of my aunts estate and she had some accounts there. Initially I intended to simply liquidate and close those accounts but after working with the staff and in particular Richard Ames (VP and branch manager) I decided to open a trust account for the estate and then later one for myself. They are fantastic to deal with!
The El Segundo office is beautiful and the employees are very knowledgeable, and helpful.
I set my accounts up under Luther Burbank, but this year it was acquired my WaFd Bank. My experience with the El Segundo location has been great. They retained the staff who I enjoy working with and now they are in 9 states and offer much more. I'm happy to get it all done in one place!
