Megan was efficient and thorough!
I like their stuff, I like that it’s vegan, I like that it’s natural, I like that it’s fresh. It’s a bit overpriced, and I feel like the staff must be working on commission now because I’ve never felt so upsold in a store before. I come in saying I need one particular thing, and they either show me to that thing but then try to sell me something that will pair well with it, or they try to sell me something completely different than what I came in looking for.
I will never ever return to this store as long as Crystal works there. I brought my child in to explore the store since I had lots of happy memories of it back in New York but the moment we stepped foot in there we were instantly crowded by her. She began harassing us and trying to keep my kid away from me and would ignore me or “reassure” me that she knew what she was doing. I came in with my kids, for they have never seen a Lush store. I found the whole experience overwhelming because the staff member kept talking to us showing all the products, while I'm trying to keep my kids from grabbing stuff. She kept demanding my attention, which was hard when I need to watch my four year old. I felt bum barded. We were there so long because she kept showing my kids ALL the products that I had no intent buying. It got annoying and long.
I came in not sure exactly what I was looking for, Megan and Emmet immediately gave not only recommendations based on what I liked, they took the time to explain what every product does, and even suggested things to pair with it. They were both very kind, and extremely helpful! Both were warm, and sincere with their customer service. Probably the best experience I've had at any store ever.
