excellent Janet Lurie is an excellent elder law attorney. She stays current in her field of expertise and is very committed to helping her clients. She is ethical and caring.
Unethical My 85yr old father went to her for financial security and she gave power of attorney to all of the people who wanted to use it. But the thing that matters most is that she told my father that I would get copies of all of the documentation and I got nothing. That, is a violation of ethics. Money is not a matter to me. Ethics, truth and honesty are. Ms. Lurie has fallen far short on all measures.
Unethical/money hungry My Mother passed away and we hired Mrs Laurie for estate matter with family members. Her handling of this case was unethical, she was more concerned with what the value of the estate was worth , so that she could increase her fees then dealing with what the will requested. accomplished nothing but an overcharge bill.
