In my experience, Lung and Sleep Victoria in Niddrie seemed more focused on generating revenue than providing meaningful patient care. My initial consultation lasted approximately 10 minutes and cost $348. During the appointment, I was asked many of the same questions that I had already answered in the questionnaire. The only examination performed was a blood pressure check, which the specialist indicated was not really necessary. I have been seeing Dr Khoo at lung and sleep Victoria since 2019 and have been on work cover since. Dr khoo has been amazing since the start and I can’t speak anymore highly of him. I’d also like to mention Sarah the medical secretary who has also been there through the whole work cover process she has made such a frustrating process of dealing with all sorts of documents every few months extremely easy. Required spirometry testing for a pre-work medical that had a tight deadline. Staff were incredibly helpful, they booked me in promptly and were quick to process the report - much appreciated
