I just moved to the area and found Lunds and Byerlys in Prior Lake. Went in and did some shopping, loved the healthy choices and "feel" of the store. I live about 20 min away, but it was worth the drive. When I got home, I realized that a bag of my groceries was missing. I called the store and Dave, the manager, was very apologetic. He found the bag and put it in the freezer for me to return to pick up. I went into lunds early (around 6:30am) on my way to work last week to pick up a little Thursday donut treat for myself. As I was checking out, the cashier couldn't have been nicer! She complimented me on my sweater and said it made me look great. When I got the survey on the receipt, she gave me a little piece of chocolate to "thank me in advance for completing the survey." Village Market had a far superior deli. Their fried chicken and mashed potatoes were a family favorite. We purchased that amazing chicken and mashed taters weekly. Now it's just icky. Wishing I could find that fried chicken that was at Village Market!!!
I like the store very much,although I believe the butcher's at the meat counter could be more helpful.
