Lunda decided to forcibly delay the construction of the I-74 bridge in order to get more money from the Dept. of Transportation, which impacted its completion by what’s set to be at least a year. We should be driving over this new bridge by now. The Quad Cities, to no fault of our own, have been left to deal with this impact, causing wasted time, money, and stress.
