Great regionally-based grocery store chain! It's nice shopping at a large grocery store, and knowing my money is supporting a regional company- not some giant located halfway across the country. Lund's and Byerly's is expensive, yes, but it is the highest quality around. Even the "not nice" (I use that term loosely) stores are beautiful inside and out, and they have such great selection.
Since the change of the online site it has been impossible to place an order online without calling someone to place the order for me. This is very cumbersome and frustrating.
The Roseville location is highly AntiSemtic - I asked to have the meat slicer cleaned in the deli before they sliced some roast beef for me since I don’t consume pork. The ride employees refused. Needless to say I didn’t get the beef. Also, what the deal with them making me sclepp my own groceries to the car? And then being admonished by the lazy cashier that I ask required to bring the cart back in ti the store.
