I want to give a shout out to the staff at the Belmont store. This evening an elderly gentleman was in line to buy literally three items. He had a walker and was not in great condition. The cashier helped him get to the end is the counter and process his payment, telling him exactly what was happening. when the gentleman started asking for a walker, the cashier got him a shopping cart and then quickly realized that was not what he needed. This was my first time going to this store and it was a HORRIBLE experience!! The Lunardis manager asked me to provide documentation for my service animal which is against ADA law. He told me that my service animal needed to have identification which is also not required by federal law. I calmly let him know that my dog was not a pet and instead a service animal that what he was asking for was against the law. He then asked us to leave. Meat department is the best in the bay area. Always have everything you could possibly need to make a top notch dinner.

Los Gatos Store slipping. Quality in decline. Capability decreasing. Chestnuts sold at high prices were rotten and moldy. Seafood ordered for Christmas was wrong and or was not delivered. Third year in a row this has happened. Very disappointed.
Lunardi's has a ridiculous corporate policy about not selling alcohol to out-of-state valid driver's licenses.
